Faith, Fabric & Family: Antiques, Holiday Decor & Vintage Treasures
This Elk Grove home has been lived in and loved for decades, and it shows in the best possible way. Room after room is layered with antiques, mid-century pieces, and the kind of vintage finds that only turn up when a family has kept things carefully.
A stained glass Coca-Cola lamp panel sits above a console stacked with cobalt glass, silverplate serving pieces, and hammered brass. Nearby there is a Wurlitzer console piano with its bench, brass table lamps, framed prints and original oil paintings, and smaller treasures like a wooden Musicale miniature grand piano and hand-painted Asian porcelain.
Fabric runs through the whole house. A Singer Tradition sewing machine comes with decades of patterns, notions, and supplies, and the closets are worth digging through: silk and satin robes trimmed in lace, leather and suede jackets, fur, beaded evening bags, belts, and a cotton Japanese yukata. There are stacks of linens, handmade crochet, and baby goods still in their original packaging.

The vintage games are a highlight on their own: Battleship, Clue, Sorry, Chutes and Ladders, Trouble, Perfection, and Yahtzee, most still in their original boxes.
The garage is the holiday room. Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Easter decor fills the tables, including numerous Nativity sets, Santa figurines, nutcrackers, snowmen, glass trees, and stockings. Add in kitchenware and small appliances, jewelry, collector plates, unopened toys, craft supplies, and yard tools, and there is something here for collectors, decorators, crafters, and anyone who likes finding what nobody else spotted.
